Important FAQ's:

1. How much ice should you get for the party?

It all depends on how many guests you are having and what types of drinks you are planning to serve. I can give you recommendations. This is obviously very important but you would be surprised how many times I have run out of ice after specifically mentioning how much is needed.

2. Can you make a signature drink to go with the theme of my party?

I would be more than happy to, whether you have something specific in mind or just want me to come up with something original. Need some ideas? Click Below to come up with some great ideas using ingredients you plan on using for your party. It's free. Navigate to and click on "in my bar" after clicking below.

3. Can you help me with other things besides bartending?

It all depends on the party size and how busy I am making drinks. As a rule of thumb, when there are no guests to be served, I always keep busy picking up trash, removing plates, and general cleanup unless you request otherwise. I am a professional bartender but I can be very helpful in many aspects of your party as well. I will do my best to help you with
anything you need. I understand how stressful it is to be the host. Trust Me :)

4. What types of payment do you take?

I prefer cash but I do accept personal checks.

5. Do you have your own transportation?
Yes

What to Know When Hiring an Online Bartender for a Private Party

If you’re looking for a private bartender, be sure to set your standards high. Not only should this person be knowledgeable when pouring drinks, they also need to have a great personality. All of this should be done while maintaining a high level of professionalism, the great mix of fun and hard work!

Your bartender should arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the event to familiarize themselves with the area they will be working in and to set up their work station. A functioning and efficient bar are two very important components for timely drink service. It takes time to prepare garnishes which is dependent on the amount of guests. Additional prepping can include chilling beer and staging an easily accessible area near the bar for any backups.

A bartender should be in direct contact with their potential client before the event. As a Rule, I make it a point to call the host when I am in route to the party. This way he or she can focus on other aspects of the party and have one less worry about something going wrong. Your bartender must be readily available to answer any questions for the host, and build a friendly relationship so both the host and bartender are comfortable the night of the event.

A good bartender will cater to each guests needs, and make sure everyone is satisfied. Anyone can memorize how to pour a drink, but it must be served with a great attitude and outgoing
bartender.

How to Become a Bartender and Be Your Own Boss

Are you a bartender and are you sick of getting bad shifts at your job? Do you want to control your work schedule and get paid top dollar for your bartending skills? You can become a private bartender with the tips I am about to give you. Even if you are not a bartender you can get the training you need and become a private bartender but it does take some time and money.

Why would you want to become a private bartender? Private bartenders get paid as much as $30 an hour plus tips for their work. (I charge $25 to $30 per hour) Plus if you own your own company and get a catering liquor license you can provide the liquor and make a profit from your drinks as well.

To become a private bartender you will need a few things. One, you will need to be extensively trained in drink recipes and you will need to know your liquors. A private bartender usually does not need to have as much speed as a restaurant or club bartender, but a private bartender needs to know as many drinks and liquors as possible and incorporate more of personal interaction and friendliness.

The second thing you should do is get T.I.P.S. certified(Training for Intervention Purposes) . It is required for bartenders working in bar and restaurant establishments. A host looking for a bartender will be more apt to hire one that is certified.

Once you have the training and the license you need to start finding private parties to work. Call all of the local catering companies to see if they need anybody to work any of their events. Also check local events and festivities and bring fliers and business cards to pass out. Be a salesman. In addition work with a catering company that does these events. Network for jobs through friends, family, acquaintances, post for hire ads on job website and look into creating your own webpage. I linked all of my ads on job search sites to my website so any perspective client can see everything about me and get answers to many questions they may have about me or my services

You will want to get some business cards printed up with your name, company name(if you have one and you should), e-mail address, website(if you have one), and phone number. Take some time to make it look very professional. Remember, those cards represent you so you want them to look as good as possible. When you get work at a party or event put them on your bar and keep some in your wallet. Sometimes you will be away from the bar and someone will ask you for your business card so always have plenty on you at all times. You never know who you might potentially meet to increase business through word of mouth.
